Massimo Dutti Amsterdam

A few weeks ago the first Massimo Dutti store was opened in Amsterdam. For those among you, who don't know what I am talking about: Massimo Dutti is a Spanish fashion brand with a classic, even a bit of a preppy, style. Besides clothes, they sell shoes, leather bags, scarves and jewelry. Like sister company Zara, prices are lower than you would expect. A Valhalla for fashion lovers!

What I mostly love about Massimo Dutti, is their use of colors and fabrics, which makes the clothes look rich and classy. Also very important, the clothes are in fashion. And, since the collections are in store for only a few weeks, you don't have to be so afraid to spot someone else in the same dress. Of course, we'll have to see if that's still applicable once everyone found their way to the Amsterdam store.

Besides women's, they have a great men's clothing line, which you can find in the lower level of the Amsterdam store. They also sell fashion for children, but I haven't seen it in the store yet, not in Amsterdam or in The Hague, where they already opened a Massimo Dutti a few years ago. An online shop is in progress, so maybe virtual shopping for kids will be made available soon.
